On the 5th to 6th of November, the department of Public Administration of Parahyangan Catholic University attended the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA) – Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) – Asian Group of Public Administration (AGPA) – Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) Joint Conference hosted in Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. This conference was attended by our structural lecturers including Mr. Kristian Widya Wicaksono, PhD., Mr. Jeremia Gom Gom Parulian Simanjuntak, Mr. Jeffri Yosep Simanjorang, and Mrs. Tutik Rachmawati, PhD.
During this conference the department of Public Administration of Parahyangan Catholic University party is able to establish a collaboration with EROPA, as well as the IAPA. In a surprising, but welcomed turn of events, the department of Public Administration of Parahyangan Catholic University was also reached out by the Philippine Journal of Public Administration (PJPA) to establish a collaboration between the department’s journal. The signing of the MoU and Partnership Agreement was held on the 6th of November 2024.
This collaboration is done in hopes of strengthening the presence of Parahyangan Catholic University’s department of Public Administration on an International scale, as well as to support the department’s journal, Contemporary Public Administration Review (CoPAR). This is a reflection of the commitment of the department to increase the quality of the journal as well as networking towards international recognition.
It is hoped that the collaboration between UNPAR, EROPA, and PJPA will be able to foster information exchanges and build upon the knowledge of Public Administration in the years to come.
