The Bachelor of Public Administration Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), successfully hosted Lensa Publik 2025: Competition in Achieving a Better Future on August 2, 2025. The annual creative video competition provides a platform for senior high school and vocational high school students across Indonesia to express their perspectives on public issues through meaningful visual storytelling.
The competition reflects the program’s commitment to strengthening public engagement while introducing young people to the field of public administration as a discipline closely connected to everyday life. It also serves as an initiative to foster a collaborative, creative, and critical educational environment that encourages students to become active contributors to society.
This year’s competition attracted 100 registrations, with 75 video submissions successfully presented. Participants explored a wide range of contemporary public issues, including public transportation, traffic congestion, waste management, accessibility, environmental sustainability, and social inequality. Through their creative works, students demonstrated strong awareness of the challenges facing their communities while proposing thoughtful perspectives on possible solutions.
The event concluded with an Awarding Ceremony and Gala Dinner held at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UNPAR. The Awarding Ceremony was attended by the ten winning teams and their accompanying teachers, together with university leaders, faculty members, and distinguished judges from both academic and professional backgrounds. The competition was evaluated by a panel consisting of representatives from the Public Administration Program, Integrated Arts at UNPAR, and Watchdoc, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of the participants’ creativity, storytelling, and understanding of public issues.
Following a rigorous evaluation process, the ten best videos were recognized for their outstanding creativity, compelling messages, and thoughtful analysis of contemporary public challenges. The winners of Lensa Publik 2025 are:

- 3rd Place: Kemacetan Bukanlah Alasan – Team Triple R, SMA Pangudi Luhur II Servasius and SMA Bunda Hati Kudus
- 4th Place: 3R – Tim Berkah Urip, SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri
- 5th Place: Satu Kota, Dua Dunia – IPSUN Team, SMAK IPEKA Sunter 2, Jakarta
- 6th Place: Kesempatan Kedua – Keyzia Purnama, SMAK BPK PENABUR Singgasana

Through Lensa Publik: Competition in Achieving a Better Future, the Bachelor of Public Administration Program at UNPAR continues to encourage young people to critically examine public issues and actively contribute to positive social change. More than an annual competition, the initiative serves as a platform for nurturing future leaders who are creative, socially aware, and committed to building a more inclusive and equitable Indonesia.
