History and Development

The origins of this program trace back to the Political Science Program established in 1961 within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at UNPAR. In line with academic advancements and the dynamics of higher education policy, the program underwent several name changes, starting from the Public Administration Program, to the State Administration Studies Program, and finally becoming the Public Administration Studies Program.

The change in nomenclature to “Public Administration Program” was established through Decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education No. 3787/D/T/2005 dated October 31, 2005.

Subsequently, based on Decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 565/E/O/2021, the official name of the program was established as the Bachelor’s Program in Public Administration, and this nomenclature is used.
