MBKM COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM FOR THE ODD SEMESTER OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026: ADVANCING VILLAGE INTEGRITY AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN CIGUGUR DISTRICT, KUNINGAN REGENCY

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Community Service Program (KKN MBKM) for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 in Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency, officially concluded after being implemented over the course of one semester. The program was carried out in three villages—Cisantana, Babakanmulya, and Puncak—with a focus on promoting village integrity and community empowerment based on local potential.

Through a participatory approach, students collaborated with village governments and local communities in designing and implementing programs based on assessments of village needs. To support integrity-based village governance, students conducted Community Satisfaction Surveys and Village Integrity Surveys to evaluate public services and formulate recommendations for improvement.

In Babakanmulya Village, community empowerment initiatives focused on strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through mentoring and educational activities, as well as the installation of hamlet signboards to support village administrative management. In Puncak Village, the program emphasized health education through a stunting prevention workshop, the installation of road signs, and the preparation of detailed land parcel maps to support village asset management. Meanwhile, in Cisantana Village, students assisted in drafting service charters, supported the agricultural sector through the provision of irrigation containers for vegetable farmers, and organized educational activities and workshops on the utilization of livestock manure to encourage sustainable agricultural practices.

Through the implementation of the KKN MBKM program, students not only gained valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom but also made tangible contributions to village development oriented toward integrity, empowerment, and sustainability. The collaboration established among the university, village governments, and local communities is expected to continue and generate lasting positive impacts on development efforts in Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency.
