From August 4–9, 2024, a delegation from the Bachelor of Public Administration Program at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), consisting of Amelia Augustine Aan Putri, Loudewyk Marcelano Leyriz Bessie, Windi Julia Wulandari, and Caroline Dwi Sonya Putri Patracia, participated in Temu Administrator Muda Indonesia (Temu AdMI) 2024, hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) through its Student Association of Public Policy and Management.
Established in 2004, Temu AdMI is an annual national forum that brings together students of Public Administration and Public Policy from universities across Indonesia. The event serves as a platform for academic exchange, collaboration, and discussions on contemporary public administration issues while fostering networks among future public administrators.
Carrying the theme “Outcome-Based Bureaucratic Reform to Support Sustainable Development,” Temu AdMI 2024 encouraged participants to explore innovative approaches to strengthening public governance. Throughout the event, students engaged in national seminars, panel discussions, workshops, collaborative sessions, and presentations addressing strategic issues in bureaucratic reform, public service delivery, and sustainable development.
Representing UNPAR, the delegation presented their research in the Poverty Alleviation cluster and successfully earned the 1st Best Presentation Award. This achievement reflects the delegation’s strong analytical skills, effective presentation abilities, and commitment to developing evidence-based solutions for public policy challenges.
Beyond the competition, Temu AdMI 2024 provided valuable opportunities for participants to exchange ideas with academics, practitioners, and fellow students from across Indonesia. The collaborative environment encouraged critical thinking, strengthened professional networks, and inspired innovative perspectives on improving public administration and governance.
This accomplishment demonstrates the Bachelor of Public Administration Program’s continued commitment to academic excellence and active participation in national scholarly forums. It is expected to inspire more students to engage in research, academic competitions, and collaborative initiatives that contribute to advancing public administration and sustainable development in Indonesia.
